NEUROनिवारण

Healing minds, illuminating lives

Dr. Vaibhav Deorari

I am Dr. Vaibhav Deorari — a neurologist, writer, and an explorer of the quiet intersections between medicine and meaning.

By day, I see patients, navigating the complexities of the human brain — from migraines and strokes to epilepsy and movement disorders. By night, I find myself drawn to words, cameras, and questions that don’t have easy answers.

NEUROनिवारण is that space in between.

The Doctor

I completed my MBBS from MAMC, Delhi, New Delhi, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from the UCMS, New Delhi and a DM in Neurology from GB Pant hospital, New Delhi.

The Writer

Medicine taught me to observe. Writing taught me to feel.

Outside the clinic, I write about the things that make us human — food as philosophy, cities as stories, grief as a neurological event. I believe the brain is not just a clinical object but the seat of everything we cherish: memory, love, wonder, and loss.

I shoot with a FUJI & Pixel, read literary fiction, travel when I can, and think too much about everything else.

What Is NEUROनिवारण?

NEUROनिवारण is a Hindi word that means “prevention” or “relief”. Paired with Neuro, it becomes both a medical mission and a personal mantra.

This blog is a place where neurology meets narrative. Where I share clinical insights in plain language, reflections on patient care, and the occasional detour into food, photography, and life. It is written for patients, for fellow doctors, and for anyone curious about the mind.
